What is Numista? I thought this app is called NUMISTAR?

Numista is a unique platform to learn, collect, swap and share about numismatics. With Numista you can search for coins and exonumia, collect them, manage your collections and a lot more cool stuff.

NUMISTAR is a slick and beautiful gallery for users with a Numista account. Easily import your coins and exonumia and filter, sort, search and share your collections.

Can I add coins without having a Numista account?

No, that's not possible and it's not planned to make this possible in the future. You need a Numista account in order to import coins.

How can I edit my coin data?

You can edit your coin data on Numista and then re-import your coins to NUMISTAR.

Where do I find my Numista API key?

You can create a Numista API key on the Numista API documentation page.

Where is my Numista API key stored?

Your Numista API key will only be stored on your local device (in the localstorage of your browser).

Why are all my filters and sorting settings gone after revisiting the app?

Filters, sorting settings and the search term are part of the app's URL, so it's possible to simply bookmark your current filtered gallery page if want to keep this information.

How do I re-import my coins from Numista after initial import?

You find the RE-IMPORT COINS button in the profile dialog. Just click the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Why is "n/a" displayed for "Material value" in the statistics?

The "Material value" is currently not available (n/a), but will be added in the future.
